Tyler – Tyler is a 9th grader at Elgin Academy. He is a programmer and leads the team’s marketing, website, and social media activities. In his free time, he enjoys playing the drums and gaming with his friends. He hopes to pursue a career in computer science and work at Disney World as an Imagineer.
Yash – Is a 12th grader who attends Dundee Crown/Jacobs High School. Yash specializes in robot design and building but also has developed programming skills over the past few seasons. Outside of robotics, he plays golf and lacrosse. Yash spends his summer as a caddie at a local country club and enjoys many forms of art in my free time. He plans to go attend college in the fall to study Biomedical Engineering and hopes to make breakthroughs from this unique interdisciplinary approach.
Jake – Jake is an 11th grader who attends Johnsburg High School. Jake specializes in strategy, CAD, and building. In his free time, he plays hockey and runs track. Jake participates in Skills USA, which is a small engine re-building program where he won the regional competition. Jake plans to pursue a career in engineering following the footsteps of his dad.
Alex – Alex is a 12th grader who attends Elgin Academy. He specializes in strategy and building. He also leads the team’s scouting and analytics process. In his free time, he plays hockey and golf. Alex wants to pursue a career in analytics and plans to attend the University of Tampa next year majoring in international business.
Johnathan – Johnathon is a 12th grader who attends Elgin Academy. He specializes in programming and is also learning to build. In his free time, he plays golf and is on the school scholastic team. Johnathan wants to pursue a degree in computer science and hopes to attend Purdue University.
